181102-N-XT039-2009 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Nov. 2, 2018) Air department Sailors, assigned to the guided-missile cruiser USS Leyte Gulf (CG 55), retrieve an MH-60R Knight Hawk helicopter, assigned to the "Grandmasters" of Helicopter Maritime Squadron (HSM) 46, during flight operations in preparation for Surface Warfare Advanced Tactical Training (SWATT) events. SWATT is a training exercise conducted by the Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC) to improve the Fleet’s lethality, capability and readiness. Leyte Gulf is currently home ported in Norfolk, and conducting work-ups in preparation for an upcoming deployment.
