Marines with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) and CLB-31 arrived in Tinian Oct. 29, 2018, in the wake of Super Typhoon Yutu as part of the U.S. Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) relief efforts. The 31st MEU, the Marine Corps’ only continuously forward-deployed MEU, provides a flexible force ready to perform a wide-range of military operations across the Indo-Pacific region.
