181029-N-TG517-031 HAMPTON, Va. (Oct. 29, 2018) an F-4E Phantom is on display at the Virginia Air and Space Center in Hampton, Virginia. Phantoms were used by the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force extensively during the Vietnam War. The tandem, two-seater aircraft was used as an interceptor, fighter-bomber, and in a reconnaissance role.
