181026-N-XK398-1016 EAST CHINA SEA (Oct. 26, 2018) The amphibious dock landing ship USS Ashland (LSD 48) approaches the fleet replenishment oiler USNS Tippecanoe (T-AO 199) to conduct a replenishment-at-sea. Ashland, part of the Wasp Amphibious Ready Group, is operating in the Indo-Pacific region to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
