181023-M-RP664-0076 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Oct. 23, 2018) The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS McFaul (DDG 74) departs after a replenishment-at-sea with the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3), Oct. 23, 2018. Marines and Sailors aboard Wasp are currently conducting the Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 4 composite training unit exercise, which is the final pre-deployment exercise that certifies the combined Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group and 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit’s abilities to conduct military operations at sea and project power ashore through joint planning and execution of challenging and realistic scenarios.
