181021-N-EY938-924 TRONDHEIM, Norway (Oct. 21, 2018) The Royal Swedish Navy corvette HSwMS Karlstad (K35) arrives in Trondheim, Norway, for a port visit prior to participation as a NATO partner in exercise Trident Juncture 2018. Trident Juncture is designed to ensure that NATO forces are ready to respond to any threat from any direction. Trident Juncture takes place in Norway and the surrounding areas of the North Atlantic. With more than 50,000 participants from 31 Allied and Partner nations, Trident Juncture 2018 is one of NATO's largest exercises in recent years.
