(Oct. 11, 2018) An MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter from Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 74 departs Naval Air Station Jacksonville to assess damage over the Florida Panhandle. The area was devastated by Hurricane Michael on Oct. 10, 2018. U.S. Navy and Marine Corps personnel and assets will be prepared to provide Defense Support to Civilian Authorities, if requested through U.S. Northern Command in response to Hurricane Michael relief efforts.
