Landing Craft Utility 1646 is transporting the vehicle to Treasure Island to showcase the U.S. Navy’s capability to assist various entities during humanitarian assistance or disaster relief situations. This is the 38th iteration of Fleet Week San Francisco which allows the public to interact with service members of the U.S. Marine Corps, Navy and Coast Guard, and see various demonstration around the city.
