180925-N-WR252-003 ROTA, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (Sept. 25, 2018) Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 1 install a Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)-provided generator at the Rota, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI), medical clinic for use as backup power following Typhoon Mangkhut. Seabees from the 30th Naval Construction Regiment and NMCB 1 are installing the generator at the clinic. Service members from Indo-Pacific Command are providing Department of Defense support to FEMA-led efforts to aid local and civilian authorities in Guam and CNMI for Typhoon Mangkhut recovery.
