180920-N-OY799-0009 PHILIPPINE SEA (Sept. 20, 2018) Sailors assigned to Airborne Early Warning Squadron (VAW) 125 signal the pilots to start up the engines of an E-2D Hawkeye on the flight deck of the Navy’s forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) during Valiant Shield 2018. The biennial, U.S. only, field-training exercise focuses on integration of joint training among the U.S. Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps.
