(Sept. 17, 2018) Sailors from Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron Seven (HSC-7) transport a Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) structural engineering team to Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point to assess any structural damage to the facilities following Hurricane Florence. While most of the aircraft under the command of Commander, Naval Air Force Atlantic have returned to their home bases, some assets will remain underway or stand-by in a ready status, prepared to provide defense support to civilian authority (DSCA) or logistics support if requested through U.S. Northern Command.
