Soldiers from the Guam Army National Guard are assisting direct traffic in villages throughout Guam following the storm. Service members from Indo-Pacific Command are also providing Department of Defense support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency and working with Guam and Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands’ civil and local officials for Typhoon Mangkhut recovery efforts.
