Marines with Company G, part of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) Ground Combat Element, train for sea-based amphibious operations using small inflatable boats, called combat rubber raiding crafts. The 31st MEU, the Marine Corps’ only continuously forward-deployed MEU, provides a flexible force ready to perform a wide-range of military operations across the Indo-Pacific region.
