David McAlister, commodore of Naval Construction Group 1, to simulate a diving injury onboard Port Hueneme, Calif., Aug. 14, 2018. The Naval Construction Force (NCF) provides task-tailored, adaptable, and combat effective engineering and construction forces that deploy to support Naval objectives globally and enable logistics for distributed Fleet operations.
