180720-N-OV195-013 WAKE ISLAND (July 20, 2018) U.S. Navy Seabee Divers with Construction Diving Detachment Charlie (CDDC) from Underwater Construction Team 2, work with local contractors to coordinate the deployment of a new fleet mooring buoy into the water on Wake Island. CDDC completed emergent repairs to Wake Island's off-shore fuel delivery system after heavy seas disconnected one of the fleet mooring buoys. CDDC is on the first stop of their six month deployment where they are providing construction, inspection, repair, and maintenance of coastal and ocean facilities in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet.
