180717-N-XF155-1143 YOKOSUKA, Japan (July 17, 2018) Participants take a tour of U.S. Fleet Activities (FLEACT) Yokosuka in yukata, a casual Japanese summer garment, during a community relations event. The event included a yukata fitting, a visit to a local shrine, a base tour and lunch where Sailors and family members engaged in conversation with Japanese residents from Yokosuka, Yokohama, Tokyo and Ibaraki. FLEACT provides, maintains, and operates base facilities and services in support of 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, 71 tenant commands, and 27,000 military and civilian personnel.
