180630-N-XN177-0163 YOKOSUKA, Japan (June 30, 2018) A British Royal Navy Landing Craft Utility (LCU) offloads amphibious vehicles for maintenance from the amphibious assault ship HMS Albion (L 14) while the ship is at U.S. Fleet Activities (FLEACT) Yokosuka for a scheduled port visit. FLEACT Yokosuka provides, maintains, and operates base facilities and services in support of 7th Fleet’s forward-deployed naval forces, 71 tenant commands, and 27,000 military and civilian personnel.
