180629-N-XN177-0087 YOKOSUKA, Japan – A British Royal Navy Landing Craft Vehicle Personnel (LCVP) departs the Amphibious Assault Ship HMS Albion (L 14) prior to arriving at U.S. Fleet Activities (FLEACT) Yokosuka for a scheduled port visit. HMS Albion has been deployed to the Indo-Pacific to work alongside its partners to promote peace, security and prosperity across the region. FLEACT provides, maintains and operates base facilities and services in support of U.S. 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, 71 tenant commands and more than 27,000 military and civilian personnel.
