180607-N-PH222-0300 PACIFIC OCEAN (June 7, 2018) Sailors assigned to the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Anchorage (LPD 23) receive a fuel probe from the dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Charles Drew (T-AKE 10) during a replenishment-at-sea. Anchorage is underway completing a composite training unit exercise, which is the final pre-deployment exercise that certifies the combined Essex Amphibious Ready Group and the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit’s (13th MEU) abilities to conduct military operations at sea and project power ashore during their upcoming deployment.
