180607-N-EH218-0178 COLUMBIA RIVER (June 7, 2018) The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Michael Murphy (DDG 112) is underway alongside the Avenger-class mine countermeasures ship USS Scout (MCM 8) as both ships transit toward Portland, Ore., for the Rose Festival and Portland Fleet Week. The festival and fleet week are a celebration of the sea services with Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen from the U.S. and Canada making the city a port of call.
