180510-N-IO414-182 YOKOSE, Japan (May 10, 2018) Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) 10, assigned to Naval Beach Unit (NBU) 7, departs Yokose LCAC Facility to conduct a nighttime training mission. NBU 7 routinely conducts nighttime training in order to maximize proficiency of craftmasters and crews to pilot the LCACs in any type of maritime environment. NBU 7 serves as the forward-deployed training and readiness command for deploying LCACs, landing craft utilities (LCU), and beach party teams.
