PACIFIC OCEAN (May 8, 2018) An F/A-18E Super Hornet assigned to the "Warhawks" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 97 launches from the flight deck aboard the aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74). John C. Stennis is underway with the ships and squadrons of Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 3 conducting group sail training in preparation for its next scheduled deployment.
