180505-N-AZ808-2117 SOUTH CHINA SEA (May 5, 2018) Sailors assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Halsey (DDG 97) fires M9 handgun during a live-fire exercise. Halsey is currently underway with the Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group on a regularly scheduled deployment to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts.
