180424-N-VO150-218 ACAJUTLA, El Salvador (April 21, 2018) A U.S. Army high mobility multipurpose wheeled vehicle is lowered by shipboard cranes to the Improved Navy Lighterage System Causeway Ferry 07, operated by Sailors from Amphibious Construction Battalion 2, during Joint Logistics Over the Shore (JLOTS) 2018. JLOTS-18 marks the beginning of U.S. Southern Command's exercise Beyond the Horizon, led by U.S. Army South, that helps to bolster regional and partner relations through humanitarian and civic assistance projects, medical readiness exercises and exercise related construction projects taking place in El Salvador.
