180424-N-CF658-852 PACIFIC OCEAN (April 23, 2018) The guided-missile destroyer USS Stockdale (DDG 106) is underway completing a cruiser-destroyer (CRUDES) Surface Warfare Advanced Tactical Training (SWATT) exercise. Stockdale, the guided-missile cruiser USS Mobile Bay (CG 53), and USS Spruance (DDG 111) are participating in the CRUDES SWATT exercise led by Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC), in support of the USS John C. Stennis Carrier Strike Group (CSG). SWATTs are designed to increase warfighting proficiency, lethality, and interoperability of participating units.
