180424-N-CF658-806 PACIFIC OCEAN (April 23, 2018) Range Support Craft (RSC) 4 simulates as an enemy vessel approaching cruiser-destoyer (CRUDES) units from the John C. Stennis Carrier Strike Group (CSG) during a fast attack craft-fast inshore attack craft (FAC/FIAC) event as part of a Surface Warfare Advanced Tactical Training (SWATT) exercise. The guided-missile destroyer USS Stockdale (DDG 106), the guided-missile cruiser USS Mobile Bay (CG 53), and USS Spruance (DDG 111) are participating in the CRUDES SWATT exercise led by Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC), in support of the John C. Stennis Carrier Strike Group. SWATTs are designed to increase warfighting proficiency, lethality, and interoperability of participating units.
