180423-N-VO150-206 ACAJUTLA, El Salvador (April 19, 2018) A partially loaded Improved Navy Lighterage System Causeway Ferry 07, operated by Sailors from Amphibious Construction Battalion 2, approaches the pier to be moored in preparation for lift on/lift off crane operations during Joint Logistics Over the Shore (JLOTS) 2018. JLOTS-18 marks the beginning of U.S. Southern Command's exercise Beyond the Horizon, led by U.S. Army South, that helps to bolster regional and partner relations through humanitarian and civic assistance projects, medical readiness exercises and exercise related construction projects taking place in El Salvador.
