180421-N-YG104-0002 OKINAWA, Japan (April 21, 2018) The amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1), front, and the amphibious transport dock USS Green Bay (LPD 20) are moored in Okinawa, Japan, to disembark the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (31st MEU). The Wasp Expeditionary Strike Group has been operating with the 31st MEU for nearly two months as part of a routine patrol in the Indo-Pacific region.
