180421-N-CF658-044 PACIFIC OCEAN (April 21, 2018) The guided-missile destroyer USS Stockdale (DDG 106) fires its Mark 45 5-inch gun during a live-fire exercise as part of a cruiser-destroyer surface warfare advanced tactical training (SWATT) exercise. SWATTs are designed to increase warfighting proficiency, lethality, and interoperability of participating units. Stockdale is deployed with the John C.
