180418-M-AV740-022 HALTDALEN, Norway (April 18, 2018) Sailors and Marines assigned to Marine Rotational Force-Europe 18.1 send live rounds down range while wearing skis during a winter warfare training exercise at Haltdalen Training Center in Norway. More than 70 Sailors and Marines spent three weeks in the Norwegian wilderness learning cold weather survival techniques taught by Norwegian Soldiers from Home Guard 12 and conducted multiple day and night live-fire squad and platoon attack exercises.
