180412-N-UB406-0211 ATLANTIC OCEAN (April 12, 2018) The guided-missile destroyer USS Farragut (DDG 99) fires its Mark 45 5-inch gun during a practice fire exercise. Farragut is deployed as part of the Harry S. Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group. With USS Harry S. Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) as the flagship, deployed strike group units include staffs, ships and aircraft of Carrier Strike Group EIGHT (CSG 8), Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 28 and Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 1; as well as the Sachsen-class German navy frigate FGS Hessen (F221).
