180409-N-RI884-0312 EAST CHINA SEA (April 9, 2018) An F-35B Lightning II aircraft sits on the flight deck aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1) as the guided-missile destroyer USS Sterett (DDG 104), left, and the amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20) are underway together as part of a coordinated formation with an amphibious transport dock ship from the Japan Maritime Self Defense Force.
