The distinguished attendees included the Honorable Raynold B. Oilouch, vice president of Palau, the Honorable Faustina Rehuher Marugg, minister of state of Palau, Paramount Chief Ibedul Yataka M. Gibbons, the Honorable Amy Hyatt, U.S. ambassador to Palau, Capt. Peter Olive, deputy mission commmander of PP-18, and Capt. Charles Black, commanding officer of the expeditionary fast transport ship USNS Brunswick (T-EPF 6). PP-18's mission is to work collectively with host and partner nations to enhance regional interoperability and disaster response capabilities, increase stability and security in the region and foster new and enduring friendships across the Indo-Pacific region.
