180328-N-IA905-2071 INDIAN OCEAN (March 28, 2018) The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Halsey (DDG 97) transits the Indian Ocean behind the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Preble (DDG 88). Halsey and Preble are underway with the Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group for a scheduled deployment in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts.
