180326-M-MR595-1001 SAN DIEGO (March 26, 2018) Marines and Sailors assigned to the Whidbey Island-class amphibious dock landing ship USS Rushmore (LSD 47) salute the colors at the beginning of an amphibious squadron and Marine expeditionary unit (MEU) integration (PMINT) exercise in San Diego, Calif. The Essex Amphibious Ready Group and 13th MEU fully integrated for the first time before their summer deployment.
