180324-N-PH222-0092 PACIFIC OCEAN (March 24, 2018) A Sailor assigned to San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock USS Anchorage (LPD 23) and a Marine, assigned to the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (13th MEU), prepare to receive a landing craft, air cushion assigned to Assault Craft Unit (ACU) 5 during an amphibious squadron and MEU (PMINT) exercise. PMINT is a training evolution between Essex Amphibious Ready Group and the 13th MEU that allows Sailors and Marines to train as a cohesive unit in preparation for their upcoming deployment.
