180312-N-YG104-0001 OKINAWA, Japan (March 12, 2018) The amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) arrives at White Beach Naval Facility to disembark the 3d Marine Division after the successful completion of Exercise Cobra Gold. Bonhomme Richard is operating in the Indo-Pacific region as part of a regularly scheduled patrol and provides a rapid-response capability in the event of a regional contingency or natural disaster.
