180309-N-HE318-0417 PHILIPPINE SEA (March 9, 2018) The forward-deployed guided-missile cruiser USS Antietam (CG 54) fires the 5-inch gun weapon system in the Philippine Sea during MultiSail 18. MultiSail is a bilateral training exercise improving interoperability between the U.S. and Japanese forces. This exercise benefits from realistic, shared training enhancing our ability to work together to confront any contingency.
