180308-N-RB168-639 PHILIPPINE SEA (March 8, 2018) Quartermaster Seaman Isabella Montano, from Herlong, California, operates the marine sextant to locate the ship’s position using the sun aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Benfold (DDG 65). Benfold is underway for MultiSail 2018, a bilateral training exercise improving interoperability between the U.S. and Japanese Forces.
