180223-N-PP197-1384 GUAM (Feb. 23, 2018) Naval Aircrewman (Helicopter) 2nd Class Spencer Kachele, assigned to the “Island Knights” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 25, is hoisted onto an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter from a Mark VI patrol boat assigned to Coastal Riverine Group (CRG) 1, Det. Guam, during a search and rescue exercise. HSC-25 maintains a 24-hour search and rescue and medical evacuation alert posture, directly supporting the U.S. Coast Guard, Sector Guam and Joint Region Marianas. CRG-1 is capable of conducting maritime security operations across the full spectrum of naval, joint and combined operations. Further, it provides additional capabilities of port security, embarked security, and theater security cooperation around the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.
