180221-N-ZH683-536 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Feb. 21, 2018) An F/A-18F Super Hornet assigned to the "Fighting Checkmates" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 211 lands aboard the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75). Harry S. Truman is underway for a composite training unit exercise (COMPTUEX), which evaluates the strike group's ability as a whole to carry out sustained combat operations from the sea - ultimately certifying the Harry S.
