180221-N-UB406-0439 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Feb. 21, 2018) The guided-missile destroyer USS Bulkeley (DDG 84) fires its Mark 45 5-inch gun during an integrated live-fire exercise. Bulkeley is underway as part of the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group (HSTCSG) composite training unit exercise (COMPTUEX), which evaluates the strike group's ability as a whole to carry out sustained combat operations from the sea - ultimately certifying the HSTCSG for deployment.
