180207-N-PP197-0088 APRA HARBOR, Guam (Feb. 7, 2018) Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician 3rd Class Jake Ballard and Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician 1st Class Ruben Villegas, both assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit 5 (EODMU-5), swim to a buoy before diving during underwater mine countermeasures training in Apra Harbor, Guam. EODMU5 conducts counter IED operations, renders safe explosive hazards and disarms underwater explosives.
