180207-N-ON977-0063 NAVAL BASE GUAM, Guam (Feb. 7, 2018) Embarked security team Sailors assigned to Coastal Riverine Group (CRG) 1, Det. Guam fire a M240B machine gun during a live-fire training exercise at Naval Base Guam. This quarterly readiness training, held by the CRG-1 Training and Evaluation Unit, San Diego, allows CRG-1 Det. Guam to provide 360 degree point defense underway and in-port aboard designated high value assets. CRG-1 Det. Guam is assigned to Commander, Task Force 75, the primary expeditionary task force responsible for the planning and execution of coastal riverine operations, explosive ordnance disposal, diving and engineering construction, and underwater construction in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.
