180203-N-NB178-199 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Feb. 3, 2018) An MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 72 takes off from the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Forrest Sherman (DDG 98). Forrest Sherman is underway with the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group (CSG) conducting a composite training unit exercise, which evaluates the strike group’s ability as a whole to carry out sustained combat operations from the sea and ultimately certifying the CSG for deployment.
