180203-N-CM227-0117 SAN DIEGO (Feb. 3, 2018) The littoral combat ship USS Omaha (LCS 12) is moored during its commissioning ceremony at Broadway Pier in San Diego, Calif. Omaha is the 11th littoral combat ship to enter the fleet and the sixth of the Independence variant. This ship is the fourth to carry the Omaha name since 1869.
