(Jan. 24, 2018) Builder Constructionman Timothy Fernstrom and Builder Constructionman David Hamlin, both assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Five (NMCB) 5, use circular saws to cut pieces of wood to create gusset plates for a truss assembly. NMCB-5 is conducting training to help ensure safety, proper technique usage, and help familiarize new Seabees with the equipment in preparation for an upcoming deployment.
