191223-N-SF508-0220 PEARL HARBOR (Dec. 23, 2019) Fire Controlman 2nd Class Robert Rosario, assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Wayne E. Meyer (DDG 108), gets the first kiss with his spouse upon returning to Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam following a scheduled deployment. Wayne E. Meyer deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operation and conducted an assortment of operations, including several freedom of navigation operations as part of Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy's largest forward-deployed DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet's principal surface force.
