191217-N-TI693-1117 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Dec. 17, 2019) The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Carney (DDG 64) transits the Atlantic Ocean while the Spanish navy Alvaro de Bazan-class frigate ESPS Alvaro de Bazan (F 101) comes alongside during an inaugural passing exercise with the U.S. Navy’s Destroyer Squadron 60 and the Spanish navy’s 31st surface squadron, Dec. 17, 2019.
