191122-N-FX979-1501 CHINHAE, South Korea (Nov. 22, 2019) Steelworker 3rd Class Daniel Fleischer, from Oak Harbor, Washington, deployed with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5’s Detail Chinhae, welds and fabricates steel handrails for a stairway for the U.S. Navy Seabees supporting Commander, Fleet Activities Chinhae. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
